About Shawn Mueller
Shawn Mueller is a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern who is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with empathy, clarity, and respect. His approach is rooted in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and family systems theory, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can heal and grow.
Shawn integrates evidence-based practices with a strong commitment to emotional well-being and healthy relationships. His clinical training includes a Marriage and Family Therapy practicum, alongside years of volunteer work serving youth and families in the community. As a Marine Corps veteran, Shawn brings unique insight and a deep connection to the military community, with a special focus on supporting active-duty service members, veterans, and their families.
His areas of focus include communication challenges, relational conflict, trauma-informed care, and advocacy for marginalized communities. Believing that healing happens through connection, Shawn is committed to fostering strong therapeutic relationships built on trust and mutual respect.
Outside of his clinical work, Shawn treasures time with his wife of 31 years, their six adult children, and ten grandchildren—drawing inspiration and purpose from his family and lived experiences.
