About Axel Sacayon

Axel Sacayon is a Case Manager and Community Health Worker who helps clients navigate barriers to care and connect with practical community resources that support stability, independence, and overall well-being.

Axel brings several years of experience working in higher levels of care, including residential treatment and PRTF settings. His background in crisis management has given him a strong understanding of the challenges individuals and families may face when navigating complex behavioral health needs and community systems.

His approach is person-centered, supportive, and practical. Axel works to create an environment where clients feel heard, understood, and respected while identifying resources and solutions that fit their individual circumstances. He also values the appropriate use of humor to build connection and help clients feel more comfortable during difficult moments.

Axel earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with the goal of becoming a licensed counselor.

He is especially passionate about supporting Hispanic families, expanding access to mental health services, and reducing stigma surrounding behavioral health care within the community. Through his work, Axel aims to help clients feel more informed, connected, and empowered as they navigate care and work toward greater stability.
