Grievance
Mindful Healing Counseling values and encourages feedback from clients and community providers regarding the organization’s programs and practices. Complaints provide important opportunities for improving services. A complaint may be defined as an expression of dissatisfaction or an unmet expectation. Complaints may be submitted by clients or community providers, with support if necessary, and may relate to any aspect of the organization’s programs and services.
Mindful Healing Counseling is committed to listening to client and community provider concerns and responding in a fair, timely, and respectful manner. All complaints will be given due consideration without reprisal or discrimination. Language support will be provided for non-English-speaking clients or community providers as needed.
All aspects of a complaint will be handled confidentially to the extent permitted by law. However, if a complaint involves allegations of illegal or unethical behavior, information may need to be shared with appropriate external authorities.
All complaints are documented. The maintenance of complaint records is the responsibility of the Director of Quality Assurance.
You may submit a complaint anonymously; however, doing so may make it more difficult for Mindful Healing Counseling to fully address the matter.
